A Brief Bio.
I am a single Mother living, working and writing in
Middle England. I've described this as a bit like Middle Earth in it's
beauty but the trees don't walk. Born in 1969, I'm told I saw the moon
landings, but being only four months old I can't remember! I try to live
in as green a way as possible, growing some of my own crops, keeping my
three chickens for eggs and doing as
much reducing, reusing and recycling as is possible. I'm a pisces and a rooster, depending
which zodiac system you prefer and my favourite colours are green and
purple.

My Writing.
I've been writing since a
very good friend dared me to take part in the
National Novel Writing Month challenge -
50,000 words in 30 days, and it is so intense it's unreal. That happened in
November 2005 and The Portal Between is the end result. In 2006 I wrote Sam's
story and hated it, then in 2007 I started a science fiction piece that may yet
see the printed page, but it needs to be finished first. Then last year, 2008, I
started writing about sheep.....
I'm currently working
on the next Portal book - Probably titled Child of the Portal, and when that's finished I'm
planning to dust off the science fiction project but who knows!
Who knows where the Portal series will finally end....

Ethics Trading
I also run
Ethics Trading and through there
I can sell my own books, the incredibly versatile
soap nuts, the
ingenious paper potter, essential oils and any other eco friendly
product that catches my eye. The weather at the moment is leading me to
take Ethical business and green consumerism into the garden.
All in all I'm pretty busy most of the time.
